Lists of things

This week was painful, difficult, and sad. I am sad. If you aren’t sad and disgusted, I am not sure we have the same values.

I spent this week watching live TV, something I do not really do anymore other than the Macy’s Parade, the election, and the Oscars. I watched what happened at the Capital on one browser while talking about a co-marketing project with customers in the other. It was a strange day for all of us. I am just so sad that we had to live through it and even more sad that there are people in this country that feel it was justified, including people that I know and love.

In the midst of great sadness, here are some of the things that caught my eye this week…

The New York Times shared the full list of the 147 Republicans who, following the mob that overtook the Capital, still challenged the results. From my state, Senator Rick Scott objected to the Pennsylvania results. My Congresswoman, Lois Frankel, a Democrat, did not challenge the results. If you are not sure who your representative is, enter your zip here.

A list of books to look forward to in 2021. And true crime documentaries to look forward to as well.

Where will year 2 of the pandemic take us? All I have are questions.

60 air fryer recipes from The Everygirl. I am going to try bagels next week.

This is a really interesting story about a couple who escaped prison in the 1980s. I had no idea that there were co-ed prisons at one point too.

I binge-watched Murder on Middle Beach last week. I cannot imagine how painful it was for Madison Hamburg to film this documentary about the murder of his mother.

I did not binge Bridgerton but I am close to finishing it and then potentially moving on to reading the book. Here is a list of books to read if you enjoyed the series too.

Cashmere sweaters are on sale on J.Crew! I have my eye on nude!

Konbi’s egg salad sandwich recipe is in NYT.

See ya next week.
